Concepts of Biology

     For this class of biology, the assignment was to choose a product that's based on biological concepts. Also, I was supposed to talk about what makes it up; how the supplies for the item is provided; and why the product would or not benefit society. For this paper I chose to do it on, "snake venom" because I love animals so much and wanted to do something that had to do with them. My first choice was hybrid animals but that wouldn't work so I remembered that snake venom is used in medicine and that was how I came to choose the topic for my paper.

REFLECTION

     This paper really helped me out to see how exactly biology is used in order to produce some of our everyday products. In this case, "medicine." I've never known or wondered what exactly in snake venom was used to help people in illness to keep themselves going and live for a time. The research showed me what makes up the venom and how it's distributed all around the world to be used by scientists to make new medications. But there's one most important thing that I really learned from doing this assignment. That was so much of what was taught in class goes into all living things on the planet in order to keep them surviving and going on and that life is always full of surprises that you can discover on your own with a little research, confidence, and motivation to find out new mysteries that were never known to someone. So, always be sure to look hard and enjoy yourself for nature can provide answers for people and the world.
