BUS 1050 Foundations of Business 

In this course for the project was done in a group of five of people. For it we were to choose a business or corporation in the real world, either public or private, and find out information about how they run their business and certain key aspects to running it. The business that my group chose to do this project was APPLE INC. What was some of the key points to discover about Apple? We were to find data on its history, the ways they market and produce their merchandise, how they are doing financially,  what their management beliefs are, and how they put their practices into the work area. The parts that I worked on to find information for included the marketing and production sections of this project. This showed me more strategies on how Apple sells their goods to consumers and what makes a huge success in the business world.

 Reflection

Some day in the near future, I plan on to start my own business and make top dollars. This came to be because my grandfather owned a cafeteria and I'd go in when I was younger and fill their vending machines or help them out in anyway that I could. Then in high school I took quite a bit of business courses and thanks to the teacher, I found that I had what it takes to make a successful career in the business world. Although, I was a little unaware of some of the things that are performed or done in a business in order to become a top selling company. And doing this project really helped me to notice what to consider in a business.

In mysearch for the information I needed for the marketing and production sections I was responsible for, I discovered all sorts of qualities that not just Apple needs in order to sell their product very well but every single corporation in the world. One thing in doing this project taught me was that to be a top business is to come up with marketing strategies that'll get doznes of your goods selling by thinking of ways to attract customers attention with like color, your business logo, provide better service than your competitors (sell the same products as your business), and think of how to distribute your goods to consumers. Another lesson learned was that some companies or corporations get their manufactured merchandise mostly from one location and Apple for example gets most of their stuff from China. Lastly is that their can be employees for the business not just in the U.S. but even in other countries which is possible if a company expands itself to other places for other people to enjoy their electrical goods. I had lots of fun and enjoyment researching about Apple Inc and it showed me that there is to business than just making a profit but it's all about bringing a new invention to life and letting everyone have the experience of discovering the wonders of that particular item and enjoying it for future generations. And I can truly say that really do see Apple functioning for a very long time and continue selling their fabulous electronic merchandise.
